Youth Counseling:

The purpose and mission of Legacy international Life Center & Campus is to provide youth with shelter, food clothing, counseling, and health care referrals. The youth counseling strategies, will focus on giving young people the chance to exercise leadership, build skills, and become involved in their communities.

Today in communities across the country, there are young people living on the streets, displaced from home characterized by abuse, neglect, or parental drug and alcohol abuse. Once this child is on the streets such youth are at the risk of being abused or sexually exploited by adults for pleasure or for profit.

Developing a youth center will help prevent the sexual abuse or exploitation of these young people by bringing them off the streets and encouraging and equipping them with the ability to make the right choices.

The youth counseling will establish and strengthen locally controlled community-based programs that address the immediate needs of our youth may they be running away, homeless,or still living with their families. The goals and objectives are to:

• Address the problems of runaway and homeless youth
• Reunite youth with their families and encourage them to resolve any and all family problems through counseling and other services that they can be referred to.
• Strengthen family relationships and encourage stable living conditions for the youth.
• Help the youth involved to decide upon a constructive course of action.
