Legacy International Life Center & Campus truly understands that effective parenting has never been more important to a family’s success than today. With over 45 years of combined experience in working with the community, proper parenting will mold all future generations, and the way the next generation will behave. Historically parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles didn't live in the same house, they usually lived within a few miles always available to impart some wisdom to the younger generation on the subjects of pregnancy, childbirth, and raising children. This knowledge gave us the foundation for our kids and the life coping skills.
Legacy International understands that the attempt of trying to be a successful parent is so important and will be the most important job of one’s life. Knowing what healthy methods are best for one’s child during parenting is time consuming but a rewarding effort.
Legacy International's program is developed with the following in mind:
- First, developing clear expectation of what both parents want is the basis and the first steps to parenting
- Second, once both parents have set appropriate expectations and rules for their child, the next step is to communicate those expectations clearly to their child in word and in deed.
- Finally, hold family meetings together as another way of expression, to clear to clear up any missed communications. The family can set time out of the week to express the past and the future needs.
